 Lead Pastor Pastor Dwight and Dottie Dozier have been lead pastors at First Assembly since 2001. They are the parents of three daughters; Charity and husband, John; Stephanie and husband, Steve; and Elizabeth. They also have three grandchildren; Parker, Chloe, and Grayson. The Dozier’s have been active in pastoral ministry since 1977, serving congregations in Kansas and Texas. God has given Pastor and Dottie success in helping families in crisis. They both love helping people to grow in God. It is their main goal to see the Church become intentional about reaching out into the community.  Assoc. Pastor
Larry was called into the ministry in 2005 and is now currently serving as an associate Pastor at Great Bend and Sr. Pastor at Lyons Assembly of God, Lyons, Ks.
Maryln has been employed by Farmers Bank & Trust in Great Bend for 13 years as an AVP of Operation / I.T.
Larry and wife Maryln have lived in Great Bend for 25 years and have two children Ryan and Amanda. Ryan and wife Andrea have four children, Alic, Gavin, Broc and Miah and currently live in Hays. Daughter Amanda and husband Skylar live in Andover, Ks.
The love of our life is God and our children and four wonderful grandchildren.
 Children's Pastor Dale is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX. he left with two bachelors degrees in church ministries and many wonderful memories. Dale met and married his wife soon after graduation and they began their ministry by pastoring a small church in northwest Kansas. They then moved to Great Bend and have absolutely loved the transition of being on staff and especially of working with children. Sarah is a native born Kansan who grew up in Greensburg and went to college in Ottowa. She has a heart for this area and has taken on our ministry to the 5th and 6th Grade group which has a special place here in the church. Those 5th and 6th graders are very much a part of the ministry to the rest of the children here and it has been a honor to watch them grow under her leadership. 
Dale & Sarah's passion is to equip children with the knowledge and passion to become life long followers of Jesus Christ. They hope to accomplish this by opening up avenues through which parents can help teach their own children. Ministries such as Junior Bible Quiz, Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities, combined with camps and other outreach opportunities that we present to the kids, help to make this dream a reality. They strive to be an example as they attempt to lead their family of six to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Dale and Sarah truly believe that Great Bend First Assembly is a great place to raise a family.  Charles and Rachel Basden joined the staff of First Assembly as Youth Pastors in August 2010. They moved to Kansas, from New Jersey, where they were members of Monmouth Worship Center Assembly of God. There, they ministered to a variety of age groups, through teaching, music and leading. They both had amazing encounters with God as teenagers, and believe that God wants to touch this generation of young people in a very special way. They are passionate about prayer, worship and the Word and strive to empower students to take ownership of their own personal faith. Rachel currently teaches both journalism and English at Great Bend High School. They have grown to love Kansas and the people of First Assembly. |
